Is there any way to set all group types by default selected on group creation?

Yes, There is an option in group type setting section to set all group types by default selected on group creation.

Step 1) Login to the WordPress Dashboard.

Step 2) From the Admin Panel, click on Groups >> Group Types.

Step 3) You will see two tabs. Click on Settings Tab

Step 4) Click on “All group types to be selected? ” check box and click on Save Settings

Thats All. Now all group types will be selected by default on group creation. You can edit group types later for any group either on group list page or group individual page.
You can uncheck the option in the setting again if you don’t require this feature.
